Don't bother me, I'm writing...

So, as some of you may know, it is NaNo WriMo time again (National Novel Writing Month) and this year I am, *wipes sweat from brow* participating.

I don't entirely know why I have decided to run a marathon with a novel, but, it sounded fun, and I had book four in my Forest Folk series to write.  So...I joined.

What I'm looking forward to most, other than getting a TON of work done, is getting connected with other writers, because, let's face it, this can be a lonely business. Especially when you put your work out there for things like critiques and contests and querying. Lots of rejection to face by yourself. And while I have a supportive family, they just don't quite get it, but other writers do.

Make connections, write, write and write. That's the message for today folks. Nothing new, but something worth reiterating. 

So, here I sit, writing words that don't count for NaNo WriMo, hoping to provide some encouragement to all writers out there...when the going gets tough, write! Hey, your bound to write a scene with lots of angst if you do. *wink*

Now, back to work!
